The fourth event of the 2025/2026 Welsh Snooker U21 Series was held on Saturday 28 March at Amlwch Snooker Club on Anglesey, with eight players split across two round-robin groups ahead of a four-player knockout. Riley Powell took the title, edging series leader Oliver Briffett-Payne 3-2 in a deciding-frame final. Group matches and semi-finals were played as best-of-three frames; the final was a best-of-five.
Group A was topped by Oliver Briffett-Payne, who came through all three matches unbeaten to take first place on a 6-2 frame record. Rio Chung qualified in second on two wins from three, ahead of Tyler Mccaffrey-Smith in third. Logan Rawlings completed the group on a difficult day, failing to win a frame across his three matches.
Riley Powell mirrored Briffett-Payne's record in Group B and went a step further, sweeping all three matches without dropping a single frame to finish on a perfect 6-0. Sion Stuart secured the second qualifying place on two wins from three, with William Gwinnell third and Joel Williams completing the group without registering a frame win.
Both semi-finals ended 2-0. Briffett-Payne saw off Stuart without conceding a frame, and Powell matched the scoreline against Chung to book a final that pitted the two unbeaten group winners against each other.
The final was the match of the day. Briffett-Payne produced the tournament's highest break — an 80 — and struck two further breaks above 60, but Powell refused to let the match slip away, responding with three 40-plus breaks of his own including a 63. The deciding frame went the way of Powell, who completed a 3-2 win to take the Event 4 title.
Briffett-Payne's 80 in the final was the highest break of the event, the pick of a contest that saw nine 40-plus breaks recorded between the two finalists alone. Powell finished with five breaks of 40 or above, Briffett-Payne four.
